5.6 Uninstalling a Service
The operations used in this example for uninstalling the registrar application are:
1. Deactivating the registrar service.
2. Uninstalling the location and registrar services.
5.6.1 Uninstalling a Service using the Web Console
The
Service Management MBean
is used to deactivate the service.
Before removing the service and resource adaptor, deactivate the service so that no new entity trees of the service will be
instantiated on initial events:
Wait until the service has reached the inactive state, so that there are no more instances of the service left.
Once the service has transitioned to the
inactive
state, the service can be uninstalled using the
Deployment MBean
.
